The meeting was called to order at 7:45pm.

Minutes: Printed copies were handed out. Reading of the minutes from last meeting was waived. Minutes were approved as printed.

Treasurer’s report: No report was available.

Old Business:

Trip to Michigan Maritime Museum:

The South Haven classic boat show will be held on July 9. Members are encouraged to visit by car or by boat. No formal plans have been made; watch our website, www.woodship.com for further information.

Summer events:

July 21-23 Leave on Friday from Montrose Harbor for one of three destinations to be determined shortly. We’re looking into reserving space at Michigan City, IN, or New Buffalo, MI, or Hammond IN.

August 26 On this Friday we will hold our Founder’s Cup Race and raft-off in Montrose Harbor. Entry to the race is $10.00 for members. Non-members entry is $25.00 and includes membership in HBC. Following the race we’ll hold a raft-off at the West end of Montrose Harbor with food and games. If the ship, Friends Good Will is available and willing to make the crossing from South Haven, we are extending an invitation for this event.

Roster:

The roster of current paid members will be printed and mailed by the end of May.
